Chana Masala Fry

Here's a twist to dhaba style chana by adding a bit of different sauce, get yummy chana masala fry within a minute. Chickpea is a good source of protein and is very healthy. Chana masala fry gives a spicy twist to normal chana fry and can be had a side dish. Let's have a look at how to make one.







Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4-6 people


Ingredients:
1 bowl chick peas/garbanzo beans
2 tsp red chilli powder
salt
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tbsp gram flour
1 tbsp cornflour powder
3 chopped garlic
2 tsp green chilli sauce
2 tbsp schezwan sauce
2 tsp soya sauce

How to make it:
  • Take one bowl of chickpeas/garbanzo beans and add salt, 2 Tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp garlic paste, 2 tbsp gram flour, 1 tbsp cornflour powder and mix well.
  • Add water little by little and mix it well to make a thick paste.
  • Shallow fry them 
  • Heat a pan and add the shallow fried chickpeas, 3 chopped garlic, 2 tsp green chili sauce, 2 tbsp schezwan sauce, 2 tsp soya sauce and saute well
  • Serve hot
  • Ready to eat. Enjoy!

Chana Fry

Have you ever been to a local dhaba in Mumbai and just could not stop yourself from having those yummy fried chick pea's appetizer and so you wished you could have them every day.  Well, why not you can. It's healthy and yummy, so today I am going to help you with how to make dhaba style chana fry at home.





Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4-6 people


Ingredients:
1 bowl chick peas/garbanzo beans
2 tsp red chilli powder
salt
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tbsp gram flour
1 tbsp cornflour powder

How to make it:
  • Take one bowl of chick peas/garbanzo beans and add salt, 2 Tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garlic paste, 2 tbsp gram flour, 1 tbsp cornflour powder and mix well.
  • Add water little by little and mix it well to make a thick paste.
  • Shallow fry them and it is ready to serve
  • Ready to eat. Enjoy!

Honey Chilli French Fries

When you like both sweet and spicy, Honey Chilli French Fries comes to your rescue; with the sweetness of honey and hot spices you just can't get enough of them. If you like french fries you will love Honey Chilli French Fries for its unique taste. Let's have a look how it is made:




Cooking time: 25 minutes
Serves: 2-4 people


Ingredients:
Oil for deep frying
julienne cut potatoes (French Fries)
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp all purpose flour (maida)
salt
1 tbsp sesame seeds
4 green chillies chopped
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 small size chopped green capsicum
2 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp cornflour paste

How to make it:

  • Heat a pan and add oil for deep frying
  • Add french fries in oil on medium flame, half fry them
  • Take a bowl and add 2 tbsp cornflour, 1 tbsp all purpose flour (maida), salt; mix it with water to form thick paste
  • Now add half fries french fries in the paste and mix it well so that the fries are completely coated
  • Deep fry the coated french fries in the oil till golden brown
  • Add 1 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 4 green chillies chopped, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 small size chopped green capsicum, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tbsp dark soya sauce, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tbsp cornflour paste in a wok and mix it for 2-3 minutes
  • Now add deep fried french fries and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Ready to eat. Enjoy!

Veg Bread Roll

Here's the recipe of classic Veg Bread roll with a hint of cheese (because cheese love). Crispy from outside and soft, spicy from inside is all it takes to make a perfect bread roll. It's easy quick and tastes yummy also can be had with tea as a snack or starter/appetizer. Let's have a look how to make it:




Cooking time: 25 minutes
Serves: 4-6 people


Ingredients:
Oil for frying
green peas
3 boiled potatoes
1/2 tbsp chaat masala
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi powder)
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
salt
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 onion finely chopped
coriander leaves
2 tbsp cornflour

How to make it:

  • Heat a pan, add 1 tbsp oil and fry green peas in it
  • Smash 3 boiled potatoes and add 1/2 tbsp chaat masala, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi powder), 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, salt, fried green peas
  • Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera),1 onion finely chopped; mix it well.
  • Now add the potato mixture in the pan and saute
  • Add chopped coriander leaves, mix it and let it cool for 5 minutes
  • Take 2 tbsp cornflour and add water to make a mixture
  • Make small balls using the potato mixture
  • Take a slice of bread dip it in water, press and remove excess water from the bread.
  • Now place the potato roll in the bread and cover roll with the bread, making small balls out of it
  • Deep fry the balls on moderate flame
  • Ready to eat. Enjoy!

Crispy Spiced French Fries

Give a toss to your regular french fries and try this lip smacking recipe of Crispy spiced french fries.
We say french fries is the best thing happened to a potato then after trying this recipe I am sure you will say that Crispy spiced french fries is the best thing that happened to normal french fries.They are crispy, spicy, crunchy all at the same time. Let's have a look at how to make them.



Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2-4 people


Ingredients:
1 glass of water
2 medium size potatoes
4 green chilies
1/2 onion
ginger
salt
2 tbsp maida (flour)
1 tbsp cornflour

How to make it:

  • Heat a pan
  • Add 1 glass of water
  • Peel a potato
  • Give the potato julienne cut (french fries cut)
  • Immerse the julienne cut potatoes in water and boil them for 5 minutes
  • Make fine paste of 4 green chilies, 1/2 onion, ginger and salt
  • Rinse boiled potatoes and let it cool
  • Take a mixing bowl and add 1 tbsp cornflour, 2 tbsp maida (flour), green paste and salt
  • Mix it well and make a thick batter
  • Heat oil on high flame for deep frying
  • Take a slice of potato dip it in the green paste then coat it with oats and deep fry it
  • Fry till crispy golden brown
  • Ready to eat. Enjoy!

Soya Seekh Kebab

When we talk about veg starters/appetizers all we can think of is paneer specific or something related to dry potatoes appetizers but there is a whole lot of variety which includes kebabs. Try this yummy Soya seekh kebabs to relish your taste buds.






Cooking time: 45 minutes
Serves: 4-6 people


Ingredients:


1 glass of water
100 grams soya
10 green chillies
10 garlic
ginger
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
coriander leaves
mint leaves
salt
1 tbsp garam masala
50 grams paneer
1tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
2 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp flour (maida)


How to make it:

  • Heat a pan
  • Add 1 glass of water and boil it on high flame
  • Add 100 gram soya in the boiling water and boil the soya for 10 minutes
  • Rinse the extra water from soya and let it cool for some time
  • Make a fine paste of 10 green chilies, 10 garlic, ginger, 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • Now squeeze the extra water from soya and mix it in the mixture with the paste
  • Take the soya mixture in a bowl and add coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt, 1 tbsp garam masala, 50 gram crumbled paneer,1tsp turmeric powder (haldi), 2 tbsp gram flour (besan), 2 tbsp corn flour, 2 tbsp flour (maida) and mix it.
  • Heat oil for deep frying
  • Make kebab rolls and deep fry in the oil till golden brown
  • Ready to eat. Enjoy!
